Emmy award winner and actress, Zendaya has reacted to a viral fake wedding photos of herself and actor Tom Holland circulating online.
The images, which began trending on Instagram in mid-February, quickly gained massive attention, amassing over a million likes within an hour, sparking widespread reactions, with many fans questioning their authenticity.
Reacting to the photos during an interview with Jimmy Kimmel live, Zendaya clarified that the photos were AI-generated and not real, noting that a surprising number of people were convinced the images were genuine.
She revealed that the situation escalated when even people close to her became convinced that she had secretly tied the knot with the English actor and showered her with compliments.
“While I was just out and about in real life, people were like, ‘Oh my God, your wedding photos are gorgeous.’ And I was like, ‘Babe, they’re AI. They’re not real’,” she said.
