All is now set for the 5th edition of the Angel Salt Football Academy’s two-day Wakapass Christmas Football Party for under-15 grassroots competition scheduled for December 26 and 27, 2025, at the Legacy Pitch of the National Stadium, Lagos.
According to the organizers, the annual festive tournament is designed to discover and showcase young football talents while providing a platform for fun, music, and positive youth engagement.
Angel Salt said the Wakapass initiative, which is held annually in Lagos, is expected to expand to other parts of Nigeria in the future to strengthen grassroots football development nationwide.
This year’s edition will feature 72 teams, made up of 64 male teams and 8 female teams, with young players competing in a knockout format.
