Nigerian sports infrastructure has reached a historic milestone with the official FIFA Quality certification of the hybrid synthetic pitch at Remo Stars Football Club’s stadium in Ikenne, Ogun State.

This certification follows an exhaustive period of laboratory and field testing to ensure the pitch meets FIFA’s most stringent specifications.

To earn the “FIFA Quality” designation, the surface was reportedly  evaluated on critical performance metrics, including ball roll and rebound, player-to-surface interaction, durability, and impact safety. By passing these tests, the Remo Stars facility is now positioned among an elite group of international venues capable of providing world-class playing conditions for professional athletes.

The pitch itself is a specialized hybrid synthetic system engineered by Monimichelle Sports. It was designed to bridge the gap between high-performance professional play and the heavy-duty requirements of community usage.
