I never met her – Rosy Meurer denies knowing Tonto Dikeh in new video
Nollywood actress, Rosy Meurer, has publicly denied knowing Tonto Dikeh before she got married to Olakunle Churchill.
Rosy Meurer stated this while addressing the viral report that she was Tonto Dikeh’s best friend.
It was reported on social media that Rosy Meurer snatched Olakunle Churchill, from her best friend, Tonto Dikeh.
In 2017, Olakunle was accused of cheating on his then wife, Tonto with Meurer, who was allegedly a close friend to the family.
In response to the allegation, Meurer who denied having sexual relationships with Churchill, stated that the couple were like family to her.
In the old video, Meurer said “I remain under big church foundation and he (Olakunle) remains family to me. His wife (Tonto Dikeh) remains family to me. We’ve hung out together before and I don’t see a big deal there. People should stop saying things that they do not know.”
DAILY POST reports that three years after the couple divorced, Rosy Meurer got married to Olakunle Churchill in 2021. Their marriage sparked controversy with netizens digging up the old allegations.
However, contradicting herself in a new Instagram video on Wednesday, Meurer who has been keeping mum since she married Churchill, denied ever being friends with Tonto Dikeh, stating that she has never met her before.
“These bloggers feed off lies. I can’t really blame them but I blame all these gullible followers that just choose to believe lies and everything they see online. But today, I just want to tell you guys one thing, just this one time, so it can be on record.
“I was never my husband’s ex’s friend not to talk of best friend. I have never met her. I have never seen her, she doesn’t have my number, I don’t have her number, and she’s like 8 to 9, 10 years older than I am. And I have read comments that I was her best friend or she introduced me to her husband and I snatched him, but it’s not true. If anyone has the proof otherwise, I dare you to bring it out.
“I was never friends with anyone. I don’t even know her. I met my husband separately from that other life that he has”, she said
DAILY POST reports that Tonto tied the knot with Churchill in August 2015, and gave birth to their son, King Andre, in February 2016 before their messy divorce in July 2017 over alleged domestic violence, and infidelity.
