Veteran producer and singer, J Martins has urged the defunct P-Square duo, Peter and Paul Okoye, to resolve their issues privately rather than bringing it on social media.
The ‘Cool Temper’ crooner was reacting to the recent announcement by Peter Okoye that he is changing his birthday date to a different date from that of his twin brother due to alleged betrayal by Paul and their elder brother, Jude.
J Martins, who was the group’s producer for decades, insisted that Peter’s decision to change his birthday date over disagreements makes no sense.
He urged the Okoyes to resolve their differences amicably to avoid bringing shame on the Igbo nation.
On his X handle, Martins wrote, “These are my brothers for more than two decades. I still don’t understand why one will just wake up decades to change his own birthday separate from his twin brother?
“@PeterPSquare and RudeboyPsquare can we fix these stuff inside our house and bring this shame on ‘Ndi Igbo nke anyi’”.
