Head of Sports at the Nigeria Customs Service, Samuel Onikeku, has applauded the NCS Women’s Volleyball Team after they sealed the 2025 CGC Volleyball Premier League title with three matches to spare.
Onikeku credited deliberate restructuring and the integration of younger players for the team’s unbeaten run and early coronation.
He praised the efforts of coaches, coordinators, and players, noting that this season marked a major leap in their development.
Despite the early title win, Onikeku emphasized the team’s ambition to excel beyond domestic and regional levels.
He said the long-term project will become even more evident next year as preparations begin for continental competitions.
