Akinsanmiro misses Super Eagles training ahead Algeria clash

Ebenezer Akinsanmiro was absent as the Super Eagles began preparations for their Africa Cup of Nations quarter-final showdown against Algeria.

The midfielder, on loan at Pisa from Inter Milan, is reportedly slightly under the weather and did not take part in the team’s recovery session.

However, the situation is understood to be minor, with the former Beyond Limits player expected to recover in time for Nigeria’s next fixture.

The 21-year-old is yet to make his debut for the Nigeria at the tournament in Morocco.

Nigeria will face the Desert Foxes of Algeria at the Marrakech Stadium on Saturday, with the highly anticipated quarter-final scheduled to kick off at 5pm Nigeria time.
