NPFL: Wikki Tourists get new management team

Bauchi State government has constituted a new management team for Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, side Wikki Tourists.

The new management team will be led by Salmanu Abubakar, with Ishaka Babamaji appointed as Vice Chairman.

Buhari Adam Muhammad will serve as Team Manager, while Adamu Idris Pali was named Secretary (Civil Servant).

Other members of the Management Board include Dauda M. Chiroma, Bashir Ibrahim Idris, Yahaya Idris Sulaiman, Bilyaminu Abubakar Chindo, Kabiru Mijinyawa, Yawale Inuwa, Saleh Ahmed Muhammad, Ahmed Nasiru Elshaik, and Ali Sale.

The new appointees are expected to resume duties with immediate effect.

The Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Adamu Babayo Gabarin, confirmed the appointment on Wednesday.

Gabarin expressed confidence that the new management team will reposition Wikki Tourists FC for improved performance, professionalism and sustainable development in domestic competitions.

Wikki Tourists are currently battling to avoid relegation in the NPFL this season.
