Nigeria international Michelle Alozie has completed a move to Chicago Stars FC, joining the National Women’s Soccer League side from Houston Dash in exchange for $40,000 in allocation money.
The Stars confirmed that the Super Falcons defender has signed a three-year contract that will keep her at the club through the end of the 2028 NWSL season, marking a significant step forward in her club career.
Alozie spent four seasons with Houston Dash after initially arriving in 2021 as a national team replacement player. She steadily grew into an important figure for the club, enjoying a breakout campaign in 2022 and following it up with an impressive 2023 season in which she finished as the Dash’s joint top scorer.
