A new initiative, J-Women Impact Network (J-WIN), designed to promote mentorship, collaboration, and professional development among women, has been unveiled.
The initiative is on the behest of JMG Limited, an integrated electro-mechanical solutions provider, in collaboration with its sister company, Jamara Home.
The J-WIN was in commemoration of International Women’s Day 2026, and was launched when both companies hosted a special celebration for their female employees in Lagos.
The event, which was held at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Ozumba Mbadiwe, Lagos, brought together women from JMG and Jamara in an atmosphere of inspiration, reflection, and shared experiences.
The celebration aligned with this year’s International Women’s Day theme, “Give to Gain,” which emphasises the power of support, generosity, and collective advancement in building stronger workplaces.
Speaking during the event, Chief Commercial Officer of JMG Ltd, Mr. Rabi Jammal, commended the women across both organisations for their dedication and the critical role they play in the companies’ continued growth and success.
According to him, empowering women within the workplace is essential for building resilient organisations and driving sustainable progress.
He noted that initiatives like J-WIN are designed to create opportunities for women to connect, support one another, and grow both professionally and personally.
The J-Women Impact Network (J-WIN) was officially launched by Mr. Jammal alongside Chief Operations Officer, Mr. Christian G. Kozma, marking a significant step in strengthening internal support systems for women within the organisations.
Also speaking at the event, Chief Human Resources Officer, Mrs. Gloria Ibeziako, encouraged employees to actively engage with the new network, describing it as a platform that will enable women to build meaningful relationships, access mentorship opportunities, and support one another in their professional journeys.
In her keynote remarks, Lead Coach and CEO of The Source Coaching Ltd, Adeyanju Olomola, encouraged participants to embrace the power of giving, noting that women thrive when they invest in their personal growth while also uplifting others.
Activities during the event included interactive engagements, a Pass the Mic session that allowed participants to share personal experiences, and a fireside chat focused on leadership, growth, and navigating career journeys.
The fireside conversation featured Olomola, the lead speaker, alongside Ibeziako, and Nneka Jethro-Iruobe, a seasoned human resource professional and Happy Employee advocate.
The session was moderated by Oluwatomi Faniran, who guided the discussion around mentorship, resilience, and the importance of creating supportive professional networks for women.
The International Women’s Day celebration by JMG Limited and Jamara Home not only honoured the contributions of their female workforce but also reinforced the organisations’ commitment to promoting inclusive workplaces where women are empowered to thrive, lead, and create lasting impact.
Jamara Home’s product range includes televisions, refrigerators and freezers, audio systems, gas cookers and other cooking appliances, air conditioners, washing machines, and power solutions.
