Tech strategist Adote joins Madonna University Board

Technology strategist, Mr. Rock Adote, has been appointed to the Board of Trustees (BOT) of Madonna University Nigeria.

The appointment is expected to strengthen the institution’s digital governance and address growing concerns around data security, identity management and the need for modern technological systems in Nigeria’s higher education sector.

Adote brings over a decade of experience in digital transformation and enterprise identity management, expertise that stakeholders believe will help the university build more secure and efficient digital infrastructure for academic administration and institutional operations.

His appointment, according to stakeholders, reflects the university’s growing commitment to technology-driven governance and strategic leadership in an increasingly digital academic environment.

As a member of the BOT, Adote will contribute to institutional oversight and policy direction. The board is responsible for guiding the university’s long-term development initiatives and safeguarding its academic standards, while ensuring the institution remains responsive to global changes in education and technology.

Adote has built a reputation in cyber-security, enterprise identity management and digital transformation.

Other newly appointed members of the BOT include Sir Nwagwu Aloysius Emeka, a Geophysicist; Chief Arthur Obi Okafor, SAN, Principal Counsel of Arthur Obi Okafor & Associates; Professor Anagboso Martin Osita, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Madonna University; Mrs. Ike Angela Unaoaku, a member of the African Travel Association; Barrister Augustine Nenwa Obo; and Rev. Fr. Stephen Ifeanyichukwu Nwatah (FJS).

Speaking on his appointment, Adote expressed appreciation for the opportunity to serve the institution, stressing the importance of aligning higher education systems with emerging technological realities.
