Big Brother Naija couple Teddy A and Bambam have stirred speculation about a possible marital crisis after reportedly unfollowing each other on Instagram.

Observant fans noticed that the pair no longer follow each other on the social media platform, fuelling rumours of a rift between them.

The couple, who met during the 2018 edition of the reality show and got married in 2019, have remained in the public eye since their relationship began.

Speculation about trouble in their marriage first surfaced in December 2025 when they shared separate Christmas photoshoots, a move that triggered online discussions about the state of their union.

Neither Teddy A nor Bambam has publicly addressed the latest development.

However, Teddy A recently responded to past domestic abuse allegations, describing them as false and deeply distressing.

He said, “When they said I was beating my wife, that was a lot. I woke up, went downstairs, and my wife was there, she was watching a movie, she was pregnant, and laughing.

“Then I checked my phone and saw my notifications going off. I was like, I didn’t drop any content that’s trending, what’s going on, what did I do, or what are they saying now? As I went through the comments, my wife became very emotional and kept asking who did this. I honestly didn’t know, maybe it was one ex somewhere or village people trying to come after me”, he continued.

“I called my manager to ask what we should do, and he told me not to fuel the fire and just let it go. At the time, I didn’t really see the damage staying silent would do to my reputation. Even when my wife and I post ourselves, people still comment and ask if I’m sure I don’t beat my wife. Why would they say that? Why on earth would they do that? It affected me because it made people see me in a way that wasn’t true”, he added.

The couple has built a brand around their love story, sharing family moments and collaborating on projects.

Despite the uncertainty, fans remain hopeful, with many taking to online platforms to speculate about the situation, praying that the unfollowing is just a misunderstanding rather than a sign of deeper marital issues.
